GRA E-VAT e-Invoicing

The Ghana Revenue Authority is rolling out mandatory E-VAT electronic invoicing for every VAT-registered business in Ghana. Every tax invoice must be transmitted electronically to GRA in the prescribed format, replacing traditional paper invoice series. Businesses still issuing paper invoices for covered transactions are accumulating compliance risk with each one.

01
Obstacle

The existing accounting system has no GRA E-VAT integration — every invoice issued requires a manual re-upload to the GRA portal, doubling the workload and introducing transcription errors that cause transmission failures.

Solution

Native GRA E-VAT integration: invoices are transmitted automatically on issue with real-time status events (accepted / rejected) surfaced in the dashboard and dispatched to the finance team via the notification module.

02
Obstacle

Finance cannot see at a glance which invoices have been accepted by GRA, which are pending and which were rejected — leaving audit exposure unquantified.

Solution

Real-time E-VAT status dashboard: accepted, pending and rejected invoices in a single view, with GRA rejection reason codes displayed and a one-click resubmission button for each failed transmission.

GRA E-VAT — every invoice transmitted and tracked automatically

Native integration, live status dashboard, instant rejection alerts.
