Invoicing with GST, HST, PST & QST
Issue professional invoices in CAD with the tax lines your business needs. Canada layers federal GST (5%), HST in participating provinces (13–15%), Quebec QST (9.975%) and PST in BC, Saskatchewan and Manitoba; 4invoices lets you configure those rates and apply them per invoice, keeps sequential numbering, stores your customers and adds a payment link so clients can pay faster.

Frequently asked questions
Can I show GST and QST on separate lines?
Yes. You configure the tax rates you are registered for and each appears as its own line on the invoice. Which taxes apply to a sale is a decision for you and your accountant under CRA and Revenu Québec rules.
Are HST rates applied automatically by province?
You set up the rates you use (for example Ontario HST 13% or 15% in the Atlantic provinces) and choose them per invoice. 4invoices does not determine the place of supply for you.
Does 4invoices file my GST/HST return with the CRA?
No. There is no direct connection to the CRA. You use your invoice records to prepare the return yourself or with your accountant.
Can my accountant get the data?
You can share the issued PDF invoices and your invoice records with your accountant. There is no built-in sync with QuickBooks, Xero or Sage.
